Simple knits for complicated lives
The skein looks great, but no, that's not how I'd like my knitting too (one of the reasons I don't like variegated yarn). I do love how your shawl is working out. Such happy colors!
I'm always unreasonably pleased when I cake up a skein of yarn and I get a pattern like this.
It's always a bonus when it doesn't pool weird on the knitting!
That is pretty! I might had to have kept that as a "pet" yarn cake. In my experience pretty skeins end up being ugly cakes.
It looks like an argyle-spool! :-)
Very pretty pooling. I've never seen a yarn spool. How cool is that?Blessings,Betsy
I laughed out loud! one of my friends is knitting a "pooling cowl" - she fiddled with the number of stitches to get it to pool and she's done a great job. Many of the socks I made back in the day with fingering weight yarn pooled and I always loved the look.
beautiful colors in your balled up wool!!
Pretty, pretty, pretty!
